Melton European Night Market: A Taste of Tradition

The Melton European Night Market is back for another enchanting evening filled with traditional foods, stalls and performances that transform you straight to the beautiful streets of Europe.

April 30, 2025

The Melton Night Market returns with a vibrant showcase of European culture and festivities, marking the second of three International Night Markets held in 2025 - Asian, European and Oceanic. Held once again at the Town Centre Amphitheatre, the market transformed the space into a buzzing festival with a large variety of activities to experience.

Live entertainment performances shone a spotlight on the Sanacori Italian Trio, Dance Creations, David Smile, Manasis Dance School, and the Schunkel Band. Whilst showcasing the traditional music of Europe, the night demonstrated the genuine adoration for and beauty in celebrating Melton’s diversity.

Following the success of handcrafted stalls during their Asian Market, the European Night Market also featured a strong presence of local artists. They offered unique items such as textured art, streetwear clothing, toys, hand woven products, painting supplies and handcrafted jewellery.

Finally, attendees basked in the diverse array of flavours offered on the night, which included dishes from Greece, Italy, Poland, Germany, France and more. From delicious Italian Bruschetta and hearty Kransky sausages to Eastern European delicacies, the night market attracted a large local and non-local presence to Melton. These dishes were served by popular vendors including the Brushetta Brothers, Mary and A Little Lamb and Papa’s Pierogi and brought the delight of experiencing a taste of Europe.

Despite a lively turnout of families, friends and visitors once again to the City of Melton, many gathered to simply enjoy the atmosphere of the European Night Market. The celebration of the municipality’s diversity continues to foster community engagement and cultural appreciation through the food, music and people of Melton.
